A Bury St Edmunds business has given a boost to a local football club by confirming a three year sponsorship deal.
Volkswagen retailer, Northgate Volkswagen, will support Clare Town Football Club with kits and training equipment for the next three seasons.
The car retailer has sponsored the club for the past two seasons, and according to chairman, Tom Pilling, their continued support has given the team a huge boost for the 2011/12 campaign.
He said: “The boys are delighted and very proud to be associated with Northgate Volkswagen and the Volkswagen brand.
“This is the best news we could have hoped for.”
Robert Rolfe, brand manager at Northgate Volkswagen, said: “We feel it’s important to show our support to local groups that serve our community and Clare Town Football Club has been doing this for many years.
“We wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
