An employee from a Cheltenham retailer has joined an exclusive club after being recognised for his outstanding loyalty.
Ben Jones, business manager at Volkswagen Van Centre Cheltenham on Manor Road, was presented with a Volkswagen Gold Pin and certificate for exceptional service to the brand at a black-tie event held recently at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, London.
The 36 year old from Cheltenham, who has clocked up 12 years working for Volkswagen, said: “
The job brings its own rewards through working closely with all members of staff and working hard to make sure our philosophy of ‘customer first’ is at the forefront of everyone’s minds. However, I’m thrilled to have been awarded a Gold Pin, it’s a huge honour.”
John Seddon, head of business at Volkswagen Van Centre Cheltenham, added: “Ben thoroughly deserves this award after serving so many years for the Volkswagen brand.
“His positive attitude is an inspiration to all of us at Cheltenham Van Centre and I’m thrilled that his hard work and dedication has been officially recognised with the prestigious Gold Pin.”
Ben is one of around 20 people from Volkswagen to have received the Gold Pin in Volkswagen’s Commendation Awards 2011.
