A new management team has taken the helm at Rotherham Volkswagen, creating a truly local approach to supporting motorists in the area.
The Bawtry Road business, part of the Gilder Group, has invested in its new team with the appointment of three key individuals from the Rotherham area bringing with them over 40 years of automotive experience.
Ray Barlow, from the Rotherham area, has been appointed to lead the team as head of business, having worked for the Gilder Group for 10 years in managerial roles.
Ray’s managerial expertise provides him with the skills to deliver exceptional customer service and business development.
Ray’s new management team includes Simon Allen, from Rotherham, who has been appointed as service manager and Andrew Talbot, from Sheffield, who has been appointed to the role of sales manager.
Simon’s passion for motors began 20 years ago when he secured a two week works placement at the groups Sheffield Volkswagen branch. He has dedicated his entire career to the Gilder Group after starting on an apprenticeship programme. Its more than just a job for Simon, who has worked in various service and sales roles, as has even met his wife, Karina, who was a service advisor at the Derby Audi site.
Andrew has worked in sales for Gilder, for the past 10 years at various branches, will bringing his knowledge and experts to the Rotherham team.
