One of the region’s leading commercial property legal teams is expanding with the appointment of a new associate.
Claire Hamlin joins Black Country law firm Higgs & Sons’ commercial property team following over a decade spent at Pinsent Mason.
Speaking of her move to Higgs & Sons, Claire said: “This is a great opportunity to join such a highly regarded firm with a genuine sense of direction and ambition, loyal clients and great work.
“We’re currently operating in difficult financial conditions for the property market, but given this, Higgs has certainly been doing something right to be expanding at such a time.”
Claire’s experience includes town centre regeneration projects, conditional land disposals for residential and commercial development, acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold sites and general commercial property transactional work in industrial, energy and leisure sectors.
Claire said: “I hope that my property development and regeneration work will add greater depth to the commercial property team and help us to widen our offering to clients in this area. Having previously worked with many public sector clients I can also share my knowledge from both sides of the fence.”
Peter Coleman, head of Higgs’ commercial property team said of Claire’s appointment: “Our team has continued to grow over the last few years and Claire’s expertise will add even further to our range of services to clients.”
