An Essex house builder has welcomed the decision by Uttlesford District Council Planning Committee, to grant planning permission for a new development of houses on land off Station Road in Elsenham, Essex.
Charles Church Essex, will now commence plans to build 53 houses on the site, providing much-needed places to live for local people and families.
The house builder has been working with the planners both prior to and since making the reserved matters planning application and is pleased with the Planning Committee’s decision at yesterday’s (2 May) meeting.
Jason Andrews, land director at Charles Church Essex, said: “This particular scheme is located in a secluded location, within an established landscape setting and yet is only a quarter of a mile from Elsenham Railway Station connecting into London Liverpool Street in under an hour.
“The development will provide an exciting range of three and four bedroom Charles Church house designs of two stories in height and each with a garage and car parking. Garden sizes are generous and there will also be an area of public open space within the scheme.
“Charles Church is one of the country’s foremost house-building brands with an unrivalled reputation for the design and quality of the homes it builds – providing a range of premium homes in modern and traditional styles.”
Site clearance works have already commenced and following infrastructure and access works a show complex is due to open in September – the first units will be released for sale in August.
