An Oxfordshire house builder has welcomed the decision to grant planning permission for a residential development and a new village hall at Enstone.
Charles Church Thames Valley will build 32 houses, bungalows and apartments on The Paddocks site off Cox’s Lane, following planning approval from West Oxfordshire District Council. Work is due to begin next month.
The development, which includes 16 affordable homes, will provide much-needed places to live for local people and families as well as a village hall to be used by a variety of community groups. It will replace the existing 90-year-old corrugated iron building.
Charles Church Thames Valley’s technical director, Andy Dicker, said: “The development will provide a stunning range of three and four bedroom Charles Church house designs within easy reach of the A44, providing good access to the road network beyond.
“The site is a great location for commuters as London is just an hour and 20 minutes away from Charlbury or Hayford train stations.”
Charles Church is one of the country’s foremost house-building brands with an unrivalled reputation for the design and quality of the homes it builds – providing a range of premium homes in modern and traditional styles.
