Life at the Chubb Building has been a little busy of late. I say of late – it’s a little busy all the time. I say ‘a little busy’ loosely, as it’s been very busy indeed. In fact, we’ve been so busy working to achieve great things for our clients, that we’ve not told you about us for a while… let me begin.
The past 18 months have seen the Connect PR team double in size – going from a small office atop our iconic building, to expanding across two floors. It’s not just the number of people we need space to accommodate – the talent we’ve managed to get our hands on is elephantine! We’ve got accomplished PRs with national, local and trade experience coming out of their ears, ex-journalists with contact books as big as doorsteps, self-confessed digital ‘nerds’ and budding professionals straight out of University with bags of potential. No doubt you’ll hear more about them as our blog goes on!
We work with some brilliant brands. Most recently, iconic brand WD-40 reappointed us this year for its UK PR programme – which we couldn’t be happier about. Our work with existing clients such as Persimmon Homes, Speedy Services, HiQ, Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, Goodyear Dunlop and Volkswagen has seen the team cover thousands of miles visiting new housing developments, centres, branches, offices and football stadiums all over the UK.
From huge projects such as the Persimmon Homes 40th birthday charity giveaway (which saw a great charity in Leicestershire win a £250,000 house!) to the fabulously fiendish halloween office party we’ve got planned (watch this space!), the cogs of Connect PR never stop turning.
