An award winning Burton business is celebrating after its service team was named as one of the best in the UK, after achieving records levels of customer satisfaction.
TL Darby, was named Volkswagen’s top largest retailer for its after-sales service, an accolade that it also received in 2008 and 2009.
Positive feedback from customers and excellent customer loyalty figures, according to results from Volkswagen‘s Service Quality Awards, ensured TL Darby was placed as one of Britain’s best.
The recent award is another triumph for the Burton retailer which was recognised in April this year as one of the top 25 Volkswagen retailers in the UK, for the sixth year running, at The Volkswagen One Business Awards, which measures overall performance across all business divisions.
Speaking of the award, Richard Darby, brand manager at TL Darby, said: “We are delighted that our service team has yet again been recognised for its level of service to customers.
“It makes me very proud to have such a dedicated team who continually strive to deliver total customer satisfaction.”
TL Darby remains a privately owned family business and has been operating in Burton for over 40 years. The business currently employs a team of 57 and is located in the old fire station building on New Street.
Service manager, Andrew Pickering accepted the award on behalf of TL Darby service team at a ceremony held at the Volkswagen Phaeton factory in Dresden, Germany.
Andrew, added: “Hosting the ceremony at the factory made it a very memorable event and I felt very honoured to represent my colleagues.”
