Never the type to turn down the chance of a knees-up, we’ve taken Halloween well and truly by the fangs this year. The Connect PR office was transformed into a ghoulish crypt this week thanks to account director Caroline’s daughter Grace (9) and digital account exec Kirsty (not 9!).
We’ve taken advantage of the fact that it’s half term to have some fun, drafting in MD Hazel’s son Will (7), account manager Sam’s son Frank (also 7) and financial controller Jackie’s daughter Ruth (7) to help with the celebrations! We ate lots of sweets and cakes and pizza and listened to fantastically creepy music. We even trick-or-treated our friends across the Connect Group, collecting lollies and dishing out frights!
As well as using the day to scare the life out of everyone and anyone we clapped eyes on, we waved off account director Sarah as she embarked on maternity leave to have her second baby. We’re sad that she won’t be around every day for a while, but we’re all wishing her lots of love and we can’t wait to see the new baby when he or she makes an appearance.
From our office knees-up to the fabulous celebratory lunch we managed for Persimmon Homes 40th birthday at the Kensington Roof Gardens – events management is one of our specialties! If you’ve got an event on the horizon that you’d like help with, give us a call and we’ll see if we can help!
