A father and son who bought separate homes on the same housing development have given their families a wonderful fresh start.
Richard and Steven Bell were so impressed with their new homes built by Persimmon at Great Western Park that they haven’t looked back since making the decision.
Steven, 36, said: “This is my first home with my new girlfriend and we wanted to buy somewhere that we could call our own.
“The sales team at Persimmon were fantastic. They helped us throughout the entire buying process and delivered a home that was just perfect, exactly what we wanted. We couldn’t resist buying a new home in Didcot and when my dad helped us move in, he also instantly fell in love with its layout and location.”
Steven’s father and mother had been looking to downsize to a smaller home and when visiting their son they didn’t hesitate to speak with the sales team about their options.
“Steven had praised the team and his home was so beautiful, it was by far the best new build we had seen,” said Richard. “We weren’t exactly looking to live a few yards from our son, but the house we had seen was everything we wanted and hoped for.”
Pauline Fletcher, sales and marketing director of Persimmon Homes Wessex, said: “We are so pleased to have helped the Bell family with two moves to Great Western Park.
“The development has exceeded our expectations and proved popular with first time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize. We really have a home to suit everyone and with Help to Buy available on selected plots, owning a brand new home has never been so affordable.”
