A fast-growing construction equipment supplier has appointed a new sales executive to help it cope with increased demand.
Aquila Construction Equipment has recruited Jim Rotchell to drive forward sales of its Caterpillar equipment. He will be based in the company’s Walsall office.
Aquila Sales Manager Andy Rigby said 26-year-old Jim had already built up a wealth of experience with CAT equipment and was an excellent addition to the Aquila team.
“Jim has spent the last seven years with Finning and has got extensive knowledge of CAT from there. He knows so much about the equipment and the customers and will help bring a fresh approach to everything we do,” said Andy.
Andy said Jim, who has an eight-month-old son, had already clinched six new sales just weeks after joining the company.
Jim, from Hednesford, said he was delighted to have joined Aquila and was relishing the chance to handle the CAT range.
“We have a really good range of premium products and the market seems pretty buoyant at the moment. With this good weather it seems as if everybody has been working flat out and things have really picked up.
“Aquila as a company is really going places and I am really enjoying working here. I was looking for a sales role when this opportunity came along and it could not have been better.”
Aquila Construction was established last September and is part of the Aquila Group, one of the country’s leading experts in commercial vehicle sales, repairs and servicing.
Aquila has branches across England at Walsall, Tipton, Tamworth, Whitchurch, Telford, Worcester, Gloucester, Avonmouth and Swindon.
The company has a full range of machines available on site for purchase or short term hire and a dedicated Caterpillar specialist on hand to help customers source the best machine for their business.
It also offers parts delivery, late night parts counter services and highly equipped workshops across the region.
