A leading UK construction company has successfully secured a seven acre parcel of land in the picturesque Worcestershire village of Wychbold.
Located in the Wychavon District of Worcestershire, the land off Crown Lane has been earmarked for development by Persimmon Homes South Midlands.
Having secured the necessary planning approval, Persimmon Homes are poised to start work on the site as early as September 2013 and properties are expected to be available early in 2014. The development will ultimately provide 61 new houses offering a selection of two, three and four bedroom homes ideal for the local market.
Richard Oldroyd, managing director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands confirmed: “The £11 million pound development named, Elmbridge Gardens, will provide quality new homes for people looking to move to a semi -rural location with excellent transport links and access to facilities in Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa.”
In addition to the new properties the development will also benefit from the Section 106 contribution made by Persimmon Homes that will help to fund education, cycling, leisure and public open spaces in the area.
Richard added: “We take pride in all we do from selecting sites in prime locations, to our high standard of workmanship and the service we provide to our customers both during and after they purchase a home from us.”
