A leading construction equipment dealer is in seventh heaven after supplying its latest piece of state-of-the art machinery to a national groundworks company.
Aquila Construction Equipment has just sold Bloxwich-based Earthcon Ltd a CAT 305.5E CR five and half ton hydraulic excavator in the seventh deal between the companies in just four months.
Aquila sales manager Andy Rigby said the latest deal meant Earthcon had taken delivery of £170,000 of Caterpillar equipment from the company this year.
Aquila Construction was established last September and is part of the Aquila Group, one of the country’s leading experts in commercial vehicle sales, repairs and servicing.
“We are delighted with the deals we have been able to strike with Earthcon,” said Andy. “They were not using CAT equipment before so it is particularly pleasing that we have been able to build up such a good relationship with them so quickly.
“So far we have supplied them with a CAT 300.9 micro-digger and series of excavators ranging from one and a half tons to eight tons. It means that since we started in September we have completed 52 separate sales, an excellent performance in the current climate.”
Earthcon managing director Wayne Hawkins said he was delighted with the partnership he had established with Aquila.
