The region’s leading housebuilder has announced plans to move into new headquarters as part of a major new development to build 15 luxury apartments with space for business premises underneath.
Persimmon Homes Severn Valley has received planning permission to build the stylish apartments at Port Marine, in Portishead, which will offer a modern way of living with each home having its own terrace and parking space.
The development, which will be named Albright Court will comprise one and two-bedroom apartments located close to the marina and within a leisurely walk of the nature reserve.
Underneath the stunning development, Persimmon Homes Severn Valley will house its new headquarters to be called Davidson House.
Nicola Reed, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, said: “We have had our current headquarters in Yate for many years. However, we decided it was time to move to a location that was more central to our operations as we get work under way to build new homes in Bristol, North Somerset and parts of Gloucestershire.
“We are a growing region and Portishead is an ideal location. We hope to move into our new site in July 2014.”
The new headquarters is being named Davidson House after Duncan Davidson, who founded Persimmon Homes in 1972.
Nicola added that the apartments should also be ready next summer and will include fully fitted kitchens; with oven, hob and hood and en-suites to the master bedrooms in most of the homes.
She said: “Albright Court offers the perfect haven to enjoy a life of leisure as Port Marine has everything that you would need. These apartments are suitable for anyone looking for modern, contemporary living such as young professionals, couples and investors alike. Three apartments have already sold since launch and we don’t anticipate them to be available for long.”
