Persimmon Homes East Scotland plan to invest £5 million in the construction of 29 new houses on the 1.88 acre parcel of land 10 miles east of Edinburgh.
Speaking of the new development, Jim Kirkpatrick, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes East Scotland, said: “We are committed to building high quality homes in sought after locations that are within easy reach of local amenities and transport links.
“Our plans for the development include a mix of two, three and four bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached homes to suit a range of buyers, from those looking to get on the property ladder for the first time to families seeking more space as they grow.”
In addition to the new homes Persimmon Homes has made a commitment to provide funding for both Education and Affordable Housing in the immediate area.
Construction at the site is scheduled to commence on 17th March with the first properties expected to be available by June 2014.
