TIME FOR TEA AS MAYOR OPENS SHOWHOME

The Mayor of Rushden was guest of honour at the launch of a stunning new showhome on the edge of the town.

Councillor Richard Lewis cut the ribbon at Rushymead, the latest development from PersimmonMidlands. The opening event included tea and cakes for visitors.

Persimmon Midlands sales manager Debbie Box said: “We are enormously proud of this development and the stunning showhome here, so we were honoured that the Mayor agreed to join us for the official opening.

“The showhome has a vintage ‘Cath Kidston’ theme, so tea and cakes with the Mayor seemed a perfectly fitting way to mark the occasion.

“Rushymead is a charming collection of two, three and four bedroom homes to suit a wide range of buyers – from first time buyers and young professionals, to growing families or downsizers looking to release equity from their current property.”

Properties at Rushymead include the two bedroomed ‘Beverley’ style home with an open-plan lounge leading out to the garden, which is ready to move into for Christmas, priced at £139,950.

Persimmon is currently running an ‘All wrapped up for Christmas’ campaign where everyone who completed the purchase of their new home before Christmas Eve has the chance to win their mortgage interest paid for the next two years*.

Debbie added: “We have seen a lot of interest in the Government’s Help To Buy scheme, which enables people to move into their dream home with just a five per cent deposit. Anyone looking to trade up may also be able to access our HomeChange scheme, where we market their existing home for them, saving time and money.

“Call into Rushymead to take a tour of the showhome and find out how easy it would be to get the keys to your new home.”
