We were delighted to support Britain’s newest wildlife park when they opened the doors to the public for the very first time.
Peak Wildlife Park in Winkhill, near Leek, lets visitors get up close and personal with wildlife as diverse as penguins, wallabies, lemurs and much more.
The 35-acre site was purchased last year by co-owners Dr Jake Veasey and Colin MacDougall, who between them have been involved in zoo management and wildlife conservation for over three decades. The Park will be involved in many breeding programmes for endangered animals and aims to support conservation work around the globe.
With a good news hook we were able to deliver substantial media coverage with the launch press release alone receiving over 2,000 views on our own website.
We also couldn’t resist the odd selfie or two with the park’s cutest inhabitants to get our social media channels buzzing with excitement.
