Devoted Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle fans can finally get their hands on the brand new Transporter and Caddy vans as they become available to test drive at two of South Wales’ leading van centres.
Sinclair Van Centres in Cardiff and Swansea are gearing up to hand over the keys to the new vehicles giving customers the chance to see for themselves the many enhancements and updates.
Both models are hugely popular in the UK and their arrival at the van centres on Monday 7th September is eagerly anticipated.
The distinctive sixth-generation Transporter boasts a sharper and more refined appearance with more efficient engines, a host of safety, comfort and convenience features and the widest range of engine, transmission and trim level options ever offered by Volkswagen.
The Caddy sets a new benchmark in its class for its safety and convenience innovations. New state-of-the-art technology and engine options are set to ensure the fourth-generation model continues the success of its predecessors.

“The new Transporter panel van delivers significant equipment enhancements. It offers many new standard features including BlueMotion Technology, DAB+ digital radio, 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth phone connectivity and USB connection and Automatic Post Collision Braking system, which automatically applies the brake after collision, reducing the risk of a secondary impact.”
The acclaimed BlueMotion Technology modification includes low rolling resistance tyres regenerative braking and start/stop systems, to help reduce fuel consumption.
“The Caddy panel van has equally generous standard equipment including electric windows, DAB+ and Bluetooth capability, plus safety features including various driver and front passenger airbags and Post Collision Braking system, to name a few.
