One of the Midlands’ leading corporate legal teams is expanding further with three new appointments.
Higgs & Sons’ corporate team has appointed paralegal Shana Quinn, corporate tax adviser Adam Rollason and associate Jody Webb.
Partner and head of department Nick Taylor said: “We are extremely proud to be one of the most experienced corporate teams in the Midlands. The new skills that are now being brought to the team will only add to our offering for clients.”
The appointments bring the total number of lawyers in the team to 21, including trainees and paralegals.
Shana Quinn joins Higgs as a paralegal. She completed her law degree at the University of Law in Birmingham in 2014 where she also went on to complete her LPC.
Corporate tax adviser Adam Rollason joins the firm from Baker Tilly where he worked for three years. Having left school at 16, Adam began working for a local accountancy firm while studying for the AAT on day release. He went on to qualify as a chartered certified accountant in 2012 and then moved to Baker Tilly where he also qualified as a chartered tax adviser.
Finally, associate Jody Webb comes to Higgs & Sons from Gateley where she had been since gaining her qualification from EMW Law. Jody joined them as a part of the Corporate Transactional in 2007 and was promoted to associate in 2012.
Nick Taylor added: “We have followed a strategy of appointing experts within their individual specialisms and aim to grow the team even further in the future to match the needs of our clients.”
