It was the time of the year when the crème de la crème of Hollywood elbowed each other out the way for the attention of the world’s media.
Oscars night, the most glamorous date in the rich and famous’ calendar where legends are made, the glitzy gowns get an airing and of course the world of film is celebrated.
But despite a wealth of A-listers attending the extravaganza it was one man who stole the show – Leonardo Di Caprio.
Yes, one of the most famous runners-up in Oscar history (four previous to Sunday night) finally got his hands on the coveted Best Actor award for his performance in The Revenant.
