It’s that time of year again when hundreds of thousands of people flock to the town of Cheltenham and its famous race course for the Cheltenham Festival.
A tradition for more than 150 years, the five day festival attracts upwards of 200,000 people to this small town on the edge of the Cotswolds, filling every bar, pub, restaurant and hotel and boosting the local economy by £250 million in less than a week.
There have already been countless tales of victory, financial turmoil and even some lewd behaviour by a couple of football players on a balcony.
But to celebrate Ladies Day we take a look at some of the funniest social media posts from the festival so far:
Paddy Power kicked off preparations for the week with this questionable morning routine.

In the spirit of today being Ladies Day, the local newspaper did its best to encourage those attending to get into their finery:

But at the end of the day, no matter where you’re going or how classy your outfit is, some things are just too hard to hide.
