One of Birmingham’s most recognisable buildings has launched a search for fabulous photography.
The Cube’s Photographer of the Year competition invites amateur and professional photographers to submit their favourite shots of the iconic building.
Doug Wattleworth, Building Manager at The Cube, said: “Every week we see lots of pictures of The Cube on social media or in the press, taken by people who admire the building’s design and the way it stands out in the cityscape.
“Some of the photos are absolutely stunning, so we decided to celebrate the creativity and vision of local photographers by launching a competition for the best images of The Cube.
“Entries can be a full frame composition of The Cube, or show parts of the glistening structure glimpsed through other city landmarks. Either way we are sure there will be some brilliant shots for us to judge.”
Finalists will have their images displayed online and inside The Cube at a special exhibition event on Thursday 26th May, when the overall winner will be presented with their trophy.
The closing date for the competition is Tuesday 17th May 2016, and full details of how to enter can be found on The Cube’s website. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
