Halloween Launch for Leyland Belsize Park Store

8848 created a fun Halloween-themed event for national DIY store Leyland for the launch of its new Belsize Park store.

Mayor of Camden, Cllr Samata Khatoon, officially cut the ribbon, marking the store’s opening and the creation of eight new jobs. The event was a family-friendly affair, filled with fun activities, competitions and treats.

Leyland’s Belsize Park store offers a wide range of products, It is also the first Leyland store to sell Benjamin Moore paint. It will cater for both trade professionals and home enthusiasts

Leyland CEO Martin Hastings said: “We are delighted to officially open our Belsize Park store.

“We like to create a buzz when we open in a new location, and it was fantastic to see so many people having fun and finding out what we have to offer the area.”

Sean Wozencroft, 8848’s head of content and PR and Emily Branigan, our social media and marketing executive led the London launch.

From coordinating suppliers for the event to capturing social media content and even getting creative with the If You Dare challenge box (credit to Sophie Casewell for the eerie design), it’s been a delightfully spooky few weeks at 8848.

This successful launch marks the third Leyland store opening for 8848 in 2024, solidifying our reputation as a leading agency in the retail sector. So far in 2024 we have relaunched Kensington followings its refurbishment and opened Leyland’s South Kensington store in July.
