Leading local sight loss charity Beacon is inviting companies from across the region to put on their thinking caps and get fundraising.
The charity’s Sedgley centre is the venue for the fourth annual quiz night organised by Quality Silks Solicitors on Thursday 18th June (7pm).
Kelly Vickers, Beacon events officer, said: “Every office has one – that person with a seemingly limitless supply of general knowledge and fascinating facts. Well we need them to come along and put their memories to the test.
“We are looking for teams of four to compete, with questions on a range of subjects. Entry costs £50 per team and includes a hot supper, so this is a great staff night out – and will help us to raise funds to improve the lives of local people living with sight loss.
“More than 167,000 people in the West Midlands currently have sight problems, and we are committed to offering support to all who need help.
“Fundraising is vital to continuing the high quality service and facilities we provide, so we are hugely grateful to Silks for organising their quiz night for the fourth year running. Together we plan to make it a night to remember for all taking part.”
