MAN dealer AN Richards signs new five-year deal with utility firm.
Llangollen–based AN Richards has cemented its relationship with local water supplier Dee Valley Water by providing a bespoke MAN TGS 26.320 6×4 fitted with HIAB crane, extra storage and crew hygiene facilities.
Company secretary Johanna Cooke explained: “We have been working with Dee Valley Water since 2007 after undergoing the tendering process. We maintained all their cars and vans and we have been building our rapport ever since.
“We look after their 80-strong fleet and have now signed contracts to provide three vehicles to them on five-year hire contracts. This MAN TGS is a new vehicle and we are delighted to have been able to provide this bespoke service.
“Because we know their business needs so well we have been able to provide a bespoke vehicle that accommodates all their equipment securely and safely and also offers a handwashing station for the crew.
“The vehicle is used to deal with emergency call outs and will be on call 24/7 365 days a year.”
