8848 Communications has created a new campaign for ALC to promote its core values of respect and inclusion to their employees.
A joint venture between Amey and Babcock, the ALC business provides worldwide whole fleet management for the MOD’s engineering and construction vehicles and plant.
The business sees diversity as essential to growth and innovation and believes their business is better for the variety of perspectives, experiences, cultures, genders and ages of its colleagues. The company wanted to create a campaign that communicated this internally as a consistent reminder of the importance of inclusion.
They approached 8848 looking for aid in communicating what they feel diversity means in their business, wanting to encourage colleagues to think differently and embrace the varying characteristics within their workforce.
ALC wanted to celebrate the differences everyone has within the workplace and to spread the importance of this message for maintaining a successful business.
The proposition for the campaign was to communicate that ‘We are all different, but that’s what makes us stronger.’
Simon Wood, Finance and Commercial Director at ALC, said: “This message was targeted to the whole ALC team from the managing director, the managing team and the key departments at head office right across to regional locations and technicians that operate remotely in UK and Cyprus.
“We are delighted to have worked alongside 8848 as they really helped create an eye-catching campaign that brought to life our diversity message in an innovative, yet thought-provoking way.”
The new campaign was created by 8848’s creative director, Mike Lloyd, and overseen by marketing director, Amanda Stagg.
Speaking about the campaign, Amanda said, “We’ve worked with ALC over a number of years and this latest campaign is designed to show the respect the business has for everyone’s differences and the power that different contributions can have in the workplace.
“We worked closely with ALC to design the campaign and are really pleased with the outcome. We wanted to place emphasis on the importance of respect and inclusion in the workplace, and are looking forward to receiving feedback on the results from the campaign.”
