We first started working with Ricoh 3D back in September 2019. Since then, we’ve been focusing on raising brand awareness and positioning Ricoh 3D as a voice of authority in the 3D printing world, but it was the Ricoh 3D The Virtual Tour that really put them on the map.
From automotive to medical, the use of 3D printing is becoming increasingly popular throughout sectors across the globe, and its applications can be seen far and wide. Ricoh 3D tasked us with reaching out to key industries to help them understand how 3D printing could benefit their businesses.
We wanted to give businesses across the world the opportunity to get to know Ricoh 3D. With social distancing measures in place, a virtual online webinar offered businesses and individuals the chance to get up close and personal with the talented technical team.
For 8848, it was obvious that the best way to promote this unique opportunity to a B2B audience was through LinkedIn. We designed pre-event ads that ensured maximum exposure before launching sponsored content campaigns, to drive website conversions.
Once on the website, registering interest in the webinar was easy through an accessible landing page designed by our dedicated digital team.
Ahead of the event we supported key individuals within the Ricoh 3D business to produce content that could be promoted on their individual LinkedIn profiles, raising awareness and positioning the team as industry leaders.
Aside from using LinkedIn, we got Ricoh 3D’s webinar featured in key trade publications which helped promote and encourage further sign-ups.
Working closely with the client, we achieved some enviable results which ensured Ricoh 3D’s first webinar was a huge success, and will unlikely be their last:
- 133 registrations across Spain, Portugal, UK, Japan, Germany, Poland, France, the USA, the UAE, Lithuania, Netherlands and even Nigeria
- Participants consistently held at 70 attendees
- Generated multiple enquiries and requests for recording across automotive, medical and academic sectors
“With lockdown restrictions in place and our regular stream of on-site visitors drying up overnight, we knew we needed to find a way to bring our state-of-the-art facilities and expertise to the marketplace virtually.
8848 supported throughout the planning and delivery, creating fantastic campaign assets across social media, PR and digital that drew a really engaged audience for our first webinar offering. We adapted the webinar content from a polished pitch deck that 8848 had created for our sales team late last year.
Our ethos is “more than a printer, a partner” and we look for this same approach in our agencies too – 8848 deliver much more than a service, we see them as an extension of our own team.”
