8848 is adding to its numbers with the acquisition of direct marketing agency Zero One.
The suite of new services being offered includes email, SMS and direct marketing, data integrity and compliance, a highly experienced contact call centre, reputation management, customer research and marketing automation.
8848 was established in 1999 by managing director Hazel Crawford. In 2016, it relocated from city centre premises to a rural former farmhouse, facilitating continued growth. Over time, the business has developed from a traditional PR agency to a full-service agency offering marketing, creative, digital, social media, content creation and media relations.
Zero One was established in 1997, priding itself on bringing simplicity and transparency to the complex world of data.
“8848 has had a relationship with Zero One for many years, introducing clients who require specialist services to the dedicated team,” explained Hazel.
“There’s no denying 2020 is a very strange year, however the opportunity to grow the agency and offer our clients an even bigger range of services remains a priority.
“Now is not the time to sit back and wait for business to come to you. We need to be on the front foot exploring all ways in which we can grow. I know that other businesses are doing exactly this and we have many services to support them.”
Zero One will rename to 8848. Clients moving with the team include Baxi Heating, Ekornes, Rexel UK, Lee Longlands and HiQ Tyres.
