Full-service Staffordshire-based agency 8848 has strengthened its team with four new appointments.
The new additions to the team will strengthen the agency in various departments from Social Media to Digital Marketing, PR and Customer Management.
Digital Marketing Expansion:
With over nine years’ marketing experience, Marco Guerreiro joins as Digital Account Manager. His expertise see him working with clients including Goodyear Farm Tires and Travelworld Motorhomes.
The former Navy Sailor and lover of good food who originates from Algarve, Portugal said: “I hope my digital marketing skills together with UX and development know-how will help our customers thrive and succeed in the ever changing digital marketing realm.”
PR Progression:
Sarah Burton joins the agency as PR Account Manager, bringing a wealth of experience. She said: “I am thrilled to be part of the team here at 8848. It’s great to be able to work with such a skilled, talented and friendly group of people.
“I believe I bring a wide range of PR and communications experience to the role. This will benefit the agency’s clients in the many activities we undertake on their behalf to achieve great results.”
And, if her experience hasn’t already gone down a treat – her homemade sausage rolls certainly have.
Committed to developing new talent, the agency has also welcomed Account Executive Millie Warrilow. After recently graduating from the University of Leeds with a BA in Journalism, her fresh knowledge and writing skills will help her to support both PR and Social departments.
She said “It’s exciting to be part of a team which is constantly expanding. I can’t wait to see where my time here will take me.”
Customer Management Development:
New Customer Management addition Laura Morgan has already made a real mark on the team in her role as Customer Management Specialist.
Laura overlooks some of the agency’s biggest clients including Baxi Boilers and Persimmon Homes, dealing with their customer service requests. She said: “From the location to the people, I have really enjoyed my first few months here at 8848. It’s a huge change from my previous role of owning a pottery cafe, but I’m really enjoying the new challenge.”
Outside of work, Laura enjoys crafting with her two children and makes outfits for her pet tortoise Suzie.
The new appointments are welcome additions to the growing team at 8848 Agency. They bring with them a wealth of experience across customer services, digital marketing, PR and content and social media.
The expansion is a result of continued growth of the business with recent wins including Lamp Shop Online, Lifeplan and Wheeldon Cottages.
