Live streaming is a cornerstone of TikTok’s content ecosystem. The platform heavily prioritises live content, pushing it to users’ For You pages. To maximise your live streams, encourage viewer interaction through likes and comments. Consider offering exclusive deals to incentivise purchases.

Image-Based Content Gains Traction

TikTok is now prioritising image-based content, allowing users to create photo carousels with up to 10 images. This feature is perfect for showcasing product ranges or telling complex stories. Use a strong opening image to capture attention and maintain a cohesive narrative throughout the carousel.

TikTok Shop is revolutionising e-commerce on the platform. Businesses can sell products directly through the app, and live shopping events are driving significant sales. The platform’s affiliate programme and showcase feature further empower creators to monetise their content.
