An Ipswich garage has raised over £500 for Breast Cancer Care after successfully re-launching its services to the motoring community.
HiQ Ipswich, on Woodbridge Road, managed to raise money for the charity after launching an incentive for customers to win a SatNav or an LCD TV.
Operated under franchise Weeting Tyres Ltd, the team donated £1 for every returned competition entry as well as £5 for every MOT booked within a given period.
HiQ Ipswich’s franchisee Mark Buckenham said: “We launched this incentive as part of our partnership with HiQ.
“Having recently joined the network, we wanted to raise awareness of our newly refurbished centre and new management team by inviting the public in-store.
“It is great to be able to raise £500 and we would like to thank those who entered our competition or booked an MOT with us.
“We are building a great customer base and we would welcome anyone to call or drop in for a consultation.”
Two lucky winners were chosen at random to win the SatNav and TV after the team collated over 100 entries into the prize draw.
HiQ have worked in partnership with Breast Cancer Care since 2009 and have raised over £85,000 through their project pink programme.
