Fans of the uni POSCA marker pen are being called upon to express their creativity to leave a permanent mark on one of the UK’s leading stationery retailers.
Mitsubishi Pencil Co. has launched the competition to celebrate the premises extension of Cult Pens’ headquarters in Tiverton.
Those with a creative flair are being tasked to transform a blank stairwell wall by illustrating what pens mean to them. The headline prize is £1,000 worth of uni POSCA and an all expenses paid trip to Cult Pens to bring their winning design to life.
Stuart Barker, marketing manager for Mitsubishi Pencil Co., said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Cult Pens to launch this competition. We’ve identified that through our support of National Stationery Day that people have a real penchant for pens, so we very much look forward to seeing the entries.”
Simon Walker, managing director for Cult Pens, said: “We couldn’t think of a better way to brighten up our stairwell than to work with artists from across the UK. I’m sure that the overall winner will use a blend of vibrant colours from the uni POSCA range to make their winning design really stand out and leave a lasting impression on those visiting our headquarters.”
