Persimmon Homes Thames Valley will build the mix of three and four-bedroom houses on land acquired from Mandeville School following planning consent from Aylesbury Vale District Council.
The Tutors Gate development, off Ellen Road, is located to the south of Aylesbury close to Stoke Mandeville and includes 13 affordable homes.
It has good road links into Aylesbury town, a regular bus service operating nearby and access into London Marylebone is just 55 minutes from Stoke Mandeville station.
Persimmon Homes Thames Valley’s technical director, Andy Dicker, said: “The site will offer quality three and four-bedroom homes and is in a great location for commuters.”
Building is expected to begin at the development in August and will be completed by early 2014. First releases are due in September and Persimmon expect to locate their sales team in an existing view home at The Green on Mandeville Road; a previous Persimmon development where sales are now fully concluded.
Persimmon Homes is also delighted to be able to offer the much sought after 95% New Buy mortgage scheme which has the backing of a range of lenders and the Government. Purchasers only need to find a 5% deposit on a new home at Tutors Gate when using this scheme.
Whilst it is a great help to first time buyers, it can also be used by customers buying a larger detached home of up to £500,000 in value – making it great news for those with growing families too.
