A Little Chalfont business has given a charity fun run a major boost after promising to match the amount raised with its own donation.
Volkswagen will match everyone’s entry fees and is also sponsoring the t-shirts for the Little Chalfont Village Day Fun Run on Saturday, 15 June at Westwood Park.
The Volkswagen retailer is now urging people to sign up for a fun run being held in aid of children’s cancer charity, the Neuroblastoma Society
All entrants will receive a t-shirt and goody bag for taking part in the run, which is just £5 to enter, with all proceeds will go to the charity, which helps children with cancer.
The run is part of the Little Chalfont Village Day which will see a variety of stalls and attractions in the village throughout the day.
As well as enjoying the pretty village of Chalfont, visitors can enjoy a beer festival taking place at the Sugar Loaf pub, a barbeque, and a fun dog show in the local park.
Peter Wood, brand manager at Citygate Volkswagen in Little Chalfont said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Chalfont Village Fun Run this year and hope as many people as possible will sign up to take part.
“Citygate Volkswagen hopes to raise a significant amount of money for a very worthy cause by matching everyone’s £5 entrance fee and providing t-shirts for all participants on the day.”
